went to track today in heat with new braswell carb. He had a new best 60ft 1.36 and 6.4 in 1/8th N/A in the heat. He bumped the revlimiter on that pass. It's still a little rich with new carb. He took some jet out and still need more out. We couldn't because he had his best launch ever from 4300rpms on footbrake and it came out hard an lifted good them and boom right back down. He ended up breaking his moser 9" so were going to pulled it out to see what it was.

Re: 3rd gen lovers LSX 6.0/now 408ci Iroc updated 8-24-09
We went to tack today to try out the 275/60s. He added a powerglide to it now and it ran new best today 4 passes were 6.30 2 -108.90 2-108.91 The best ET 1.388 60ft 6.293 1/8th 108.97 mph Oh yeah a drove to track 50 miles one way All motor/footbrake! He sold his stainless works 1-3/4 headers today and he is going to have some custom 1-7/8's made. He is also going to pull some weight out like the front bumper and loose the heavy bmr torq arm and go with a madman setup. Looking for some 6.0's-6.19s after all that. Then he is going to hook the 200 shot up

Re: 3rd gen lovers LSX 6.0/now 408ci Iroc updated 1-3-2010
New best last weekend with new 1&7/8's headers new y-pipe, y-pipe and lost the mufflex and ran single dynomax with a dump b4 rear end. 1.382 60ft 6.26 1/8th 109.15 mph Ran out of fuel with little Holley blue with -6 lines. He threw a Holley black on to see if it helps. It was 14.0 on the wideband and he add 5 numbers to the carb and still didn't change the A/F. So fuel pump done! 1 7/8 headers on. new 3" y pipe, 3.5" circle track mufflers, howe merge y into a 4" dynomax muffler. 6"x22" case.

Im surprised that it launches so straight without a drag bar on the rear.

it has the bigger BMR bar on it, but drag bar is next on his list. It has Stock 02 SS springs on it and 12 way adjustable strange rear shocks

New Best only thing changed was he add john deer trans fluid to the trans 60ft 1.35 1/8th 6.23 mph 110mph Still need to upgrade fuel system -6 lines are holding the fuel back! The best i can get is 13.8 A/F. He has a new stock sump tank and -10 lines he is going to put on it and pull the steel front bumper out and a rare aluminum bumper that will be cut up to go back in it. He also has a 4.77 gear for it has a 4.22 gear now. Trying to get 6.00 out of it N/A Then spray at 200 shot. Here are some pics i took with Nikon d40 He had 200lbs of weight in trunk and 3/4 throttle on the throttle stop so he could run the 6.50 class in these pics and he came in 3rd. Was #1 qualifier in the class with a 6.50
